Hey Waterloo! We are opening in July 2025!
We look forward to providing high-quality care, education, and socialization for your child in a safe, nurturing & empowering environment.
The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child's own natural desire to learn - Maria Montessori
Our Goals:
Our Montessori teacher will provide students with the opportunity for social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
To provide children with a rich variety of experiences, projects, materials, problems and ideas to explore and investigate.
To provide children with the opportunities to make meaningful choices, and time to explore through active involvement and play based learning.
To provide a developmentally appropriate program for each individual child by assessing the children’s unique learning and development needs.
To provide opportunities for all types of play and discussion in order for children to share their individual ideas, to communicate with one another and to explore their social and physical worlds.
To provide continuous, confidential, unbiased dialogue between the family and teachers to assist and support them when meeting the needs of their child.
The Outcome
Through meaningful experiences, extended learning, risk taking, problem solving, play and social interactions with others, children will build a positive, confident self-identity and be set up for success as they prepare for their academic journey.
Our philosophy is inspired by the Montessori approach.
‍We see the environment as necessary for learning through play and exploration. We plan meaningful provocations to inspire curiosity, creative thinking, and connection to the world and each other. As children play, their social emotional intelligence forms while they build relationships and learn to communicate. Language skills are developed, math and science are explored with hands-on processes, nature ties in as they learn with their senses, and creative arts and culture go hand in hand with all learning scenarios. Children are truly engaged and learning through holistic Whole Child Development.

We will provide children with 2 snacks a day. Other than that parents will need to send food with the kids. We will be happy to serve the meals sent with the children and follow any special instructions you need us to follow as well.

Our home childcare is located in Vista Hills neighbourhood. We have access to our own garden and sandbox where kids will spend their exploration times. They will also be exposed to the forest that is 2 minutes walk away and the 2 parks that are at 2 minutes walk away as well.

No, our home childcare is not licensed. Licensing comes with cost prohibition which were unsustainable for everything that we plan to offer as part of the home daycare. However, we adhere to high standards of care and education, aligning with Montessori principles and best practices.
